Modern Slavery Act Statement
Axiom is committed to ensuring that modern slavery, servitude, forced labour and human trafficking play no part in our business or in our supply chains. This statement sets out the steps we take to identify and mitigate these risks.
Our business
Axiom operates a non-custodial trading platform and self-custody wallet for onchain markets. Our workforce is primarily made up of software engineers, product designers, operations staff and customer-support specialists based in the United States and United Kingdom. We work with a small number of third-party suppliers covering cloud infrastructure, professional services, marketing, events and software tooling.
Our policy
We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in all its forms. We expect the same standards from everyone who works with us or on our behalf. Our policies and contractual terms require suppliers, contractors and partners to comply with applicable labour laws, treat workers fairly, and not use forced, bonded, trafficked or otherwise involuntary labour.
Risk assessment and due diligence
We assess modern slavery risk as part of our supplier onboarding and review process. Higher-risk relationships are reviewed more closely, and we ask relevant suppliers to confirm their compliance with anti-slavery and anti-trafficking obligations. Where appropriate, we reserve the right to audit or terminate relationships with suppliers who fail to meet these expectations.
Training and awareness
We provide guidance to the members of our team who are involved in procurement and supplier management so that they can identify and respond to modern slavery risks. We encourage anyone who has concerns about a potential breach to report them to our leadership team in confidence.
Approval and review
This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and has been approved by Axiom's leadership team. We review it annually and update it to reflect changes in our business, supply chain or risk profile.
